Since month we were waiting for it. After a few leaks in the press, after a few covers of famous newspapers. Here it is. Presented at the Apple Special Event in San Francisco.

L'iPad.
During the keynote, Steve Jobs explained, that there was a place between the iPhone and a Macbook. Now it is done, Apple presents the iPad. With a 9.7-inch (diagonal) touch screen, its weight is around 1.5 pounds. You can carry it easily in your hands.
The screen is a multi touch oleo-phobic glass with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. For the first time Apple presented a home made custom designed chip. This chip is designed PA Semi Technology that was recently bought.
The batterie lifetime is anounced to be 10 hours.
The screen:
The size of the screen is 9.7 inches. It is a LED screen with IPS technology. The resolution is 1024 x 768 pixel with 132 dpi. Like on the latest iPhones you will find a oleo-phobic screen.
Connectivity:
The first model uses a Wifi (802.11 a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. The second has additionaly a UMTS/HSDPA and aGSM/EDGE chip.
Memory:
You can find three sizes 16 Gb, 32 Gb and 64Gb.
Chip:
1GHz Apple A4 specialy designed for the iPad.
