By default only the keyboard in the language of your service is activated on your iPhone.

To enable additional languages on your iPhone:

Settings -> General -> International -> Keyboard and then activating all the languages you want to use the keyboard with.

To change the keyboard in different applications click on the globe between the "space bar" and "123".

This is significantly faster than 13 clicks I had to do on my Nokia to change language T9 correction!
