If you doubt that your internet connection speed is as fast as announced by your provider, you can use the following links.
Some tests allow you to:
- The bandwidth for download
- The bandwidth for upload
- The response time (ping).
In general, the result is given in graphical form, with a comparative theoretical flow rates.
The kilobit per second (kbit / s) is a unit for measuring a speed of data transfer. It is equivalent to 1000 bit / s (not 1024).
To know the speed in kB / s (kilobyte per second), divide by 8 (because 8 bits = 1 byte). For example a speed of 24 bps, it will take 1 second to transfer 3 bytes
You can test your speed with the following site www.speedtest.net
